STI Family in Chicago
Sigourney Tractor celebrated another great year with a trip to Chicago. We took a total of 39 employees and spouses to visit the Windy City for the weekend on July 25 & 26, 2009. We hopped on Amtrak at the Ottumwa station and very much enjoyed the ride. After arriving in Chicago we took a motor coach to Giordano's for a Chicago-Style Pizza entree' then it was on to the show! The Blue Man Group was a fantastic array of entertainment. Music, lights and audience participation were the order of the evening. I think we all went in a little skeptical, but we all came out convinced that it was fantastically fun. After the show we checked into The Westin Hotel on the Magnificent Mile for an evening of fun exploring on our own or a quiet evening in our rooms, our choice. Sunday morning brought sunshine and beautiful weather for a walk on the beach, exploring downtown or a trip to the top of the John Hancock Tower. Afternoon brought our train trip back home and a lot of discussion about all the great memories we had to put in our memory banks.
